MINI TREX

This 5 day, Mother's Day weekend mini trek will visit two of the three largest pyramids of the world. Starting and ending in Mexico City, participants will arrive Saturday afternoon in time to visit the Templo Mayor Museum in the city's central zocalo. The next day will bring them to Teotihuacan and to the top of the world's third largest pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun. Day three will visit the amazing murals at Cacaxtla in the morning and then Cholula in the afternoon. Cholula's pryamid is so huge that the spaniards confused it for a mountain and built a church on top! Day four will head south to visit the Olmec ruins of Chalcatzingo and its terraces full of carved monuments. The final day will be Mexico City, with a tour its world class National Anthropology Museum and a return to the airport for late afternoon flights out.

The guide for this tour will be Dr. Heather Teague
